Why an Adoption Fee?:
Minnie arrived from a kill pound... She is a happy, adorable, precious bundle of joy!
The cost of vetting fees to date are:

Her bill for today was $148.00:
Ear mite treatment/Ivermectin: $8.00
Office vist: $38.00
Fecal exam: $18.00
Rabies 1 year: $18.00
Home Again Identification Chip: $40.00
Heartworm Antigen Test: $26.00 (NEGATIVE 1/24/06)
1/24/06 Medicine for parasites : $12.00
1/30/06 Stool Recheck: $18.00
1/31/06 Medicine for parasites: $22.00 (2 doses to be given 2 weeks apart)
1/31/06 Sales Tax: $1.32
Total to date (1/31/06) for Minnie's Health Care Is:
$201.32
She had the other necessary shots on 1/20/06 at the pound.
Next she will be spayed when I am absolutely sure she is parasite free
Additional cost of spay:
$75.00 through "Friends of Animals"
Which then will bring total vetting costs to:

I have a small scale animal rescue in Blairstown, NJ. My mission is to place fur-kids in quality homes. ALL fur-kids are altered, UTD on shots & micro-chipped before leaving me. An adoption application must be filled out prior to a home visit. ALL adopters are required to sign an adoption contract. Adoption fees never cover vetting bills, etc. so I depend on people like you to help me so that I may be able to save more lives.
Most of my rescues come from Kill Rooms... meaning because of the shortage of qualified available adopters the ones at my home are next in line to be euthanized.
You must be approximately within 65 miles of Blairstown, NJ... I do ALL of my home visits personally ... bringing with me your bundle of joy to visit!

Adopting a friend
There is an adoption application to fill out & a Home Visit is required. The adoption fee is to help cover vetting, heartworm preventative, micro-chipping, food, toys, etc.
