Our Featured Pet is Dylan. DYLAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
LOOK OUT...Fun is in the house! Dylan is just wonderful! She is 4 yo, 140 lbish and sweet as can be. Spayed and utd on vetting. She is great w/ kids! She literally sleeps in bed w/ my 10 yo son and my 6 yo daughter drags her around the house and she just follows. She adores people. She is completely housebroken and has had obedience training. She is also being fostered with a male and female husky. She is fine with them now but if you show them affection she can get jealous so if you have other dogs you will need to keep a close eye on her but as the days pass, this seems to be subsiding. She just likes to be the center of attention but in time, she has learned her place and has bonded w/ the other dogs quite nicely. She is just a joy to be around. She has a little cyst on her snout that has been biopsied and it is fine.
If interested, e-mail me at gone2thedawgz@yahoo.com and request an adoption application.
Looking for Foster homes in central and northern NJ.
We save highly adoptable dogs from overpopulated high-kill
shelters in the south. Volunteers then foster the dogs in there home until they are placed in
their forever homes. We welcome people who are interested in
fostering and have a passion for dogs. The more fosters we have, the
more dogs we can save. If interested, email Camille at Camille@att.net
Who We Are
Homeless Hearts Dog Rescue is a small group dedicated to saving wonderful dogs who otherwise would be euthanized due to lack of space in the shelter system. Our foster dogs are fully vetted and carefully evaluated prior to coming into rescue. Most of our dogs and puppies come from The Lenoir County SPCA in Kinston, NC. You can visit their site at http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/NC61.html.
We have been working with this shelter for years and have established a wonderful relationship with them. The employees and volunteers there work exceptionally hard at saving the animals that come in on a daily basis.
Once arriving here from NC, the foster dogs live in our home as a family member along side our children and personal dogs which allows us to get a true sense of their personality and needs so we can find the best possible family for them.
Adopting a friend

Upon completion and reviewing it, we will contact you shortly to discuss the dog and arrange a homevisit and meeting of the dog. The shelters I deal with have a constant flow of wonderful dogs coming in so if there is a particular type dog you are looking for you can e-mail us and we can let you know when one becomes available.
