FOCAS offers a Seminar on Resolving Common Canine Behavior and Training Issues the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Oradell Animal Hospital. Perfect for new pet guardians and adopters of shelter animals. It's an opportunity to discuss your personal pet questions and needs. Eileen Haley, Prof. Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, will be the guest speaker. And, see our modestly priced "positive reinforcement" Dog Obedience Training information. Who We Are
FOCAS was established in 1984 to promote the general welfare and natural conservation, preservation and protection of all species of animals. FOCAS has devoted the past 24 years to providing funding, humane services and vital quality of life programs for animal care and well-being to the animals at the Bergen County Animal Shelter, and other abandoned, homeless and injured animals in our Bergen County Community. FOCAS is a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. No Trustee or volunteer is paid for their services.

FOCAS holds adoptions at PETCO in Paramus, NJ, EVERY Friday and Saturday or by appointment during the week. FOCAS also holds adoptions at PETCO in Nanuet, NY, and Pawticular Pets in Maywood, NJ on rotating weekends and, ongoing adoptions at Westwood Pets, Westwood, NJ.
