~Who We Are~
We are a group of animal-loving friends - all saving Rottweilers (and sometimes not-weilers) in New Jersey, who combine well over 50 years
of rescue experience. We work closely with several
other Rottweiler, pitbull and all-breed rescue groups throughout the
North East as well as regional animal shelters.
All of our dogs must pass a stringent temperament evaluation for handling,
people-focus, food and resource
guarding, and
acceptable behavior with other animals before being accepted into our
program. Rescues are altered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, heartworm
tested and on preventative. The safety and well-being of our animals is
of utmost importance to us, so our adoption process includes a phone interview,
2 personal references, a vet reference, and a home check. A donation of
$275.00 for adult dogs and mixed breed pups, and $350.00 for pure-bred puppies is used to offset the cost of offering a healthy companion to
complete your family. Our dogs and pups are offered spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, HW neg and on preventative, micro-chipped and with a clean fecal test.
