New Jersey Boxer Rescue, Inc. (NJBR) is a non-profit organization that rescues and places abandoned or unwanted boxers in loving homes within New Jersey and neighboring communities.
We provide a full range of rescue services including the intake of boxers from shelters or owners, a thorough interview and adoption process and continuous follow-up with our adoptive homes, as well as providing assistance to any boxer home or other rescue that reaches out to us.
Adopting a friend
If you've decided to adopt, and have discussed this with the family, just go to the website at www.njboxerrescue.com and complete our online application. Please be careful to fill in all the information on the application - missing information on prior pets or failure to provide phone numbers for references will slow down the process. Your application be reviewed by our adoption committee, and will enter the review process. Once we have received feedback from your references, we will contact you by phone to arrange a home visit. A New Jersey Boxer Rescue volunteer will meet with your family and pets, and if your home is the ideal spot for one of our dogs, it won't be long before you have a new family member! We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Come Visit Us!
New Jersey Boxer Rescue, Inc. does not have a shelter building; our dogs are housed either in foster care or in boarding kennels while awaiting their wonderful new homes. We'd love to have you visit us at our "virtual facility," though!
