BEACON ANIMAL RESCUE would like to thank the many volunteers that have helped Beacon become so successful at rescuing and finding good homes for the many wonderful orphaned pets in Cape May County. We would like to encourage other animal lovers to get involved and bring whatever talent you have to help these beautiful animals. We need volunteers to help care for the animals, help with fundraising, do yard work, do computer and office work, and help with adoptions and transport. If you can offer any of these things, even 1 hour a week, call (609) 390-7946.
REMEMBER: Our Support a Pet Program! For just $10.00 a month you can help support one of the animals here at Beacon. Check us out on www.petfinder.com, pick the pet you'd like to support, give us a call, and we'll fill you in on the rest! A SPECIAL GIFT for the Holidays! Right now sponsor a pet as a gift and receive a decorative picture along with a special letter. Give the gift of love--$120 for a 1 year sponsorship and $60 for 6 months.
Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing domestic animals that are about to be euthanized in shelters, giving them the care they need, and finding homes for them. We spay and neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test dogs, Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test, and deworm. If you live in our area, we would love for you to foster a dog or cat, volunteer to care for the animals, or help in fundraising. We are in need of volunteers to help us care for the animals and give them lots of love and attention. PLEASE CONTACT US!!
We gladly accept donations of the following:
Dry cat food, and canned, preferebly 9 lives or friskies, dog food, dry and canned, preferebly pedigree, cat litter, cat and dog toys, biscuits, cat treats, newspapers, bleach, paper towels, trash bags, leashes and collars, etc.
WE ALSO GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY MONETARY DONATIONS.

Adopting a friend
In order for us to adopt one of our animals to you, we need to a vet check and see proof that you either own your home or have permission to have an animal. If you do not have a vet reference, a home check will be necessary. Please bring the name and phone number of the veterinarian you use along with proof that you own your home or are permitted to have an pet. You must also have two forms of I.D. and complete a pre-adoption application.
