Tank


*******POOR TANK****** Tank has been here at the shelter for the last several months. We can not understand why no one has adopted him yet. Tank has become everyones favorite pup and everyone is determined to find him his forever home!!! Tank is a very energetic guy, who loves to play, roll in the grass and just have someone rub his belly. Tank doesn't want to spend the summer at the shelter, he wants to spend it with you. Why not come in and meet him. Tank was surrendered to our shelter because his owners landlord did not want a pitbull on the property. Tank is 4 years old, neutered up to date on shots and completely housebroken.

Petco in Parsippany would like for you to come in and start spoiling your newly adopted animal. Any animal adopted from Parsippany Animal Shelter can bring a copy of their adoption contract to Petco, in Parsippany, ask for a manager and receive a coupon book of $125.00 in savings for the new addition.

ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED FROM OUR SHELTER ARE UP TO DATE ON SHOTS, GO HOME WITH A STARTER KIT PROVIDED BY VOLUNTEERS. OUR ADOPTION FEE IS $25.00 FOR CATS AND $50.00 FOR DOGS. ANY PET ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER WILL BE ISSUED A SPAY/NEUTER CERTIFICATE TO HAVE THE PET ALTERED AT A PARTICIPATING VET FOR $20.00. ALSO THERE WILL BE NO PRE -ADOPTIONS OR RESERVING OF ANY ANIMAL. ADOPTIONS OF ANY ANIMAL IS DONE AT THAT TIME ONLY AND NO EXCEPTIONS.

Thanks to all of our adopters, 2008 we placed 225 animals. We have several animals available for adoption. Why not come in and meet our pets. Donations that we could always use are bleach/laundry detergent/dish detergents, lysol sprays, paper towels, cat/dog toys, treats, and collars and leashes.

Who We Are

We are the Parsippany Troy-Hills Animal Control Division. We serve the township's residents in regards to domestic animals and wildlife. Our division consists of three full time employees who are able to assist the residents on a 24 hour basis 365 days a year.

Adopting a friend

We have a selection of dogs, cats, and kittens, that are looking for a permanent home. Come on in and see if we have your companion waiting for you!!! Our adoption fees for our companions are as follows: Dogs $50.00 Cats $25.00 Donations that the shelter can always use are: bleach/laundry detergent/dish detergents, lysol sprays, paper towels, cat/dog toys, treats, collars and leashes, dog/cat canned food

Come Visit Us!

At this time we would like to invite you to come and visit the shelter. Our hours for adoption are: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 12:00pm. We can always arrange an appointment during weekdays. The shelter is closed to the public on holidays.
