Who We Are
Safe Haven is a No Kill, Non Profit cat rescue located in Manahawkin New Jersey. We are non profit 501(c)3, No Kill and a registered state charity.
We are an all volunteer organization that has been working in Manahawkin and the surrounding areas for the last 5 years. We work hard to focus locally and concentrate on helping the cats in our area directly so they don't end up being euthanized...or worse.
All of our cats are kept in foster homes where they live and are loved like regular housecats. We Strive for happy, healthy cats that will fit in well with any household.
Safe Haven Does NOT believe in Declawing cats and will NOT adopt to you if you plan on having the cat declawed. We are more than happy to show you how to trim your cats nails
Adopting
You must be at least 18 years old to adopt a cat from us. It is a $75.00 adoption donation for a cat or kitten. Special needs cats are done on a case by case basis. We like to talk to potential adopters to make sure we match them up with a cat that is right for them. We always take our cats back no questions asked at any time.
All of our cats are Spayed or Neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas with a 30 day product, and microchipped BEFORE they are put up for adoption.

Store hours are 11-4 Tuesday through Saturday. Moxie is a privately owned thriftshop, part of the proceeds from all sales goes to Safe Haven Cat Rescue.
Our cats have a giant new playpen next to some sunny windows and there is a small seating area for people to sit and play with the cats.
