Mutts-N-More Rescue has recently saved several special needs dogs from being euthanized in high-kill shelters. We are always in need of monetary donations, as well as foster homes and volunteers. Please contact us if you can help.
All donations are tax deductible, being we are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Who We Are

Mutts-N-More Rescue Inc., established in May 2002, is dedicated to rescuing dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from kill shelters nationwide, and placing them in foster/permanent homes. We also assist people with re-homing their pets.

We are always in need of donations to help us care for our rescued animals!

We are always in need of more FOSTER HOMES....please visit our website, http://muttsnmore.com if you are interested in temporarily opening your home and your heart to a dog or cat in need...you can surely save a life! Fostering is an extremely rewarding experience. Rather than teaching your kids about the miracle of life by having them witness the birth of new puppies, as many people do....teach your children the miracle of saving a life, how to make a difference, and the rewards of performing a selfless act.

Adopting a friend

In order to adopt a pet from us, you must first please visit our website, http://muttsnmore.com and fill out an online adoption application. Adoption fees vary with each animal. Once you submit an application, one of our team members will contact you to discuss any questions you may have.

Adoption Policy

Step #1- The Adoption Application:
The adoption process begins with the Adoption Application. Anyone wishing to adopt from Mutts-N-More Rescue must first fill out an Adoption Application Form. This must be filled out completely! Incomplete applications can not be processed and will delay your request for adoption. Upon receipt, your application will be reviewed and veterinarian as well as personal references will be checked.

Step #2 Phone Interview:
Once your application has been reviewed and references have been checked, if you are approved you will be contacted by phone to discuss the animal you wish to adopt as well as the adoption fee for that animal.

Step #3 Meeting The Animal:
Following the phone interview, arrangements will be made for you to meet with the animal you wish to adopt. This meeting may take place at your home or at the home where the animal is being fostered. If you have other animals in your home we strongly recommend this meeting take place in your home to be sure all animals are compatible. All household members must be present at the time of the visit.

Step #4 The Home Visit:
Following your visit with the animal you apply to adopt, we will schedule a home visit for one of volunteers to come to your home. A home visit is required to ensure that a proper and safe environment will be provided for the animal you wish to adopt.

Step #5 Finalizing The Adoption:
Once the adoption has been approved we will contact you again to finalize the adoption (this can also be done at the time of the home visit or meeting the animal, as long as all other requirements have been met). At this time you will be asked to review and sign the Adoption Agreement Contract and settle the adoption fee.


Although we have no physical location, we would love for you to come meet a pet you are interested in at its foster home. Please fill out an Adoption Application from our website if you would like to visit one of our fosters. Your application must be approved before a visit is scheduled.
