Who We Are
We are a small, non-profit, 501(c)(3) rescue group dedicated to reducing the number of homeless cats in Hudson County, New Jersey by finding the adoptable ones homes, and spaying or neutering the feral ones. We receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of people who want to support our cause. If you would like to help, just click on one of the boxes below. Thank you!
Cat of the month...Frick
4/24/14 UPDATE: Frack passed away today and Frick badly needs someone to love him. He was very attached to his brother and now faces life alone. Please consider giving him a home. He is currently in a place where he doesn't get many visitors due to a shortage of foster homes. 8/27/13: Frick and Frack belonged to Helena Stone, a transgendered woman who lived in Union City and was involved in a celebrated discrimination case. She worked in Grand Central Station and sued the MTA for the basic right to use the ladies room. She won in 2006. She died last winter and now Frick and Frack, her beloved 11 year old boys, need a permanent home. They can be cranky old men when it comes to to other cats so ideally a home to themselves would be best. They are best buddies and often groom each other. A special discount adoption fee will apply.

Adopting a friend
Tuesday & Lisa Cat Rescue, Inc. (TLC Rescue) takes responsibilty for stray cats who might otherwise not have a chance at adoption. Therefore, we seek permanent, loving homes where our "special" cats can live a long, happy and healthy life. For this reason we must ask you to fill out our adoption application, which we will e-mail to you upon request. Once it has been approved, we will arrange for you to meet the cat/s you are interested in either in your home or the foster home. Note: If you are interested in adopting a kitten from us, unless you have another cat at home, we request that you consider adopting two. This ensures the kittens well-being as well as yours!
Ask about our "Foster-to-Adopt" program. Foster for a 2 week period before adopting to be sure the cat is right for you.
Come Visit Us!
We're on the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Appointments to meet our kitties are made once we have approved your application. Email for one today!
