Summit Animal League

Summit Animal League is celebrating our 62nd anniversary in 2010 and are very proud of all our volunteers for all their hard work. We have so many sweet kittens and cats who need homes, come see our selection and take one home to your family!! If you are interested in adopting a pet please gives us a call 908-665-1186 PLEASE NOTE: SUMMIT ANIMAL LEAGUE will NOT adopt any animal outside of New Jersey.

We would like to give a special Thank you to BRENDAN GORDON for donating all of his unused toys to the Summit Animal League. These donations will help us raise money to help with spay and neutering and caring for all our rescues. The Summit Animal League is always so impressed when young people are so giving. We would like to give him our sincere appreciation for his thoughtfullness and generosity to our organization.

Who We Are
The Summit Animal League is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to the rehabilitating and the responsible placement of lost, stray and homeless animals. For over 62 years we have served our community by assisting pet owners in obtaining spay and neutering services and educating pet owners in their responsibilities toward animals. p> 100% of the money we raise is used to pay for veterinary expenses, food and supplies. Money donations are tax-deductible and can be made out to the Summit Animal League and sent to the address below.

Would you like to help?
The Summit Animal League is always looking for people interested in fostering and volunteering. Volunteer work includes cleaning cages and interacting with the cats at Petco in Watchung. This also can include foster care

Volunteer work includes cleaning cages and interacting with the cats at Petco in Watchung. This also can include foster care.

Foster care is an important facet of rescue work. Fostering involves bringing an animal into your home. This takes a lot of love and time but is extremely rewarding. You would be working with the animals daily by playing, loving, and nourishing them as if they were your own. Eventually they will be adopted out to a home. Spring Cleaning
A great way to help the animals is by donating your unwanted goods to The Summit Animal League. We in turn sell them at the Warren Flea Market. As always 100% of the proceeds are for the animals. We will provide you with a tax deduction letter on request. Please contact our President, Felicia Barz, at (908) 665-1186
