Who We Are
South Jersey Rabbit and Small Animal Rescue was founded by a group of friends dedicated to promting the welfare of rabbits and other small animals. Our primary goal is to rescue rabbits and other small animals from shelters and find loving permanent homes for them. In addition to finding good homes, we also do our best to spread the word about proper care and the importance of spaying and neutering rabbits.

Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting a rabbit or other small animal contact us at (856)845-9633 or SJRR@comcast.net and we will send you out an application. We do require the application to be filled out before you adopt, however, you are welcome to make an appointment to visit at anytime.
Once you have completed the application and are ready to adopt there is an adoption contract to be signed and a $50 adoption fee. Though $50 may seem high at first, please consider that prior to adoption all our rabbits have had at least one complete vet exam and have been spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering alone can cost well over $150.
In addition, to rabbits we also have (or know of) other small animals needing adopting. If you are interested in adopting a guiena pig, rat, hamster or other small animal please contact us. We will be happy to try and make a connection for you! There is an adoption fee for the small animals, but it does very depending on the animal.
Come Visit Us!
You are welcome to come visit us, however, since our adoption center is located in a private home we do ask that you contact us for an appointment first.
