Cameron Animal Hospital (Not a shelter)

Our Pet List

Who We Are

Cameron Animal Hospital Rescue was started as a totally non-profit rescue service that assists the local shelters by providing veterinary assistance. Started by Dr. George Cameron and with the assistance of Janice Lyons, The Cameron Animal Hospital Rescue’s objective is to help people find loving homes for homeless cats (and sometimes dogs too) . Unfortunately, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE ANY NEW CATS OR KITTENS, however, we are looking for good foster homes for pregnant moms and little babies. I am also happy to give you options for placing the animals yourself.

Adopting a Friend

All cats are vaccinated, felv/fiv tested and neutered. Kittens receive their 1st vaccine and, if old enough, felv/fiv tested as well. Follow-up calls are made to new adoptive owners to make sure animals and new owners are happy. All new pet owners are welcome to continue to use the Cameron Animal Hospital for all their pet’s health needs, although it is not a requirement. We do love it, however, because we enjoy seeing how the pets blossom and grow. The most important policy we do have is that for any reason the adoption is not successful, we insist the cat be returned to the Cameron Animal Hospital Rescue. We do not participate in any low cost neutering programs.

Volunteering and Donations

Minimum $50 required for each cat adopted to help defray costs.
