 Meet Bella! Bella wound up at an animal control shelter where they knew she was injured, they just didn't know the extent of her injuries. We couldn't resist helping this little angel so we brought her back to AWA for care.
Radiographs revealed broken ribs and a broken pelvis. Had Bella been abused? Had she been hit by a car? We will never know and she's not talking except to say "thanks"!
She has a fantastic prognosis for a full recovery and she is currently in a foster home resting. Pain medication and antibiotics plus lots of rest were her prescriptions for a return to full health.
