| Remember
that all animals adopted from the Associated Humane Societies come with
up-to-date vaccinations, receive microchips and an ID tag to help identify the animal should it ever become lost. The
adoption donation also includes spaying/neutering at our veterinary clinic.
We are open everyday from 12-5:30pm.Monday-Friday and 12-5:00 Saturday & Sunday. If you have any questions or want to learn
more about a specific animal, please call 732-922-0100. All adoptions are
approved by our loving staff, after evaluating your completed adoption
questionnaire.
We are a hands-on organization that runs three shelters, a zoo for handicapped wildlife, a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, and a nationwide adoption program. We also print and distribute educational material, help prosecute animal cruelty cases, promote protective legislation, publish the largest humane magazine in the world, and perform many other services we wish we had the space to tell you about. But even with the long hours and our seven-day-a-week schedule we are never too busy to take time to give comfort and love to a frightened puppy or abandoned kitten. It's our way...the Humane Way. Thank you for stopping by our site, and remember, pets are for a lifetime! |

The AHS Share-A-Pet ProgramThe AHS established this program in 1978 to save the lives of dogs and cats which have been cruelly abused, handicapped, or are considered unadoptable. This program is designed for animal lovers who would like to help contribute towards the care of a homeless dog or cat. Participants may take part by contributing as little as $10.00 a month which will be designated for the care of a particular animal available for your choosing. All animals in this program are neutered and sent to the Animal Haven Farm. Donations are tax deductible and an update about your animal will be sent every four months.
