I Believe...Dog Rescue

Does all this sound extreme? We apologize if you have taken offense, but please understand that we take this very seriously. We are extremely busy, and we are committed to finding the best homes possible for these animals. They have already been abandoned and neglected, starved and mistreated. It's time that they experience love, health, and the best of care. A soft bed and a warm home....things we take for granted. Did you know that most of our animals were sitting on death row ? (yes, even the puppies!) Can you understand the time and effort spent on arranging temporary foster care for them, getting enough vet work done to make it legal to transport them to us, getting them here, having the remainder of the vet work done, putting some weight on those bones, and then beginning the search for forever families? Beginning their housetraining and crate training, bathing and grooming them, showing them love and teaching them to trust., taking their photos and listing them on Petfinder, reviewing applications and checking references....it all takes time. We love what we do, and the rewards are endless. But please understand that it all takes time. Thank you.
