What could be more wonderful than having a beautiful white shepherd for whom you are the center of the universe? Esme can make you feel that way. She’s probably around five years old, and fully house broken. She rides in the car beautifully, has wonderful house and leash manners, and loves children. Her only wish is to please you, and that makes her a very obedient girl who comes when she is called, obeys many commands, and lives for your company.
Esme is up to date on all her vaccinations and heartworm negative. She will be spayed prior to adoption. If you would like to know more about how to be the center of the universe, contact her foster dad, Chaz, with your questions.

2009 WHISKER WALK
WHEN: June 7, 2009
WHERE: Lancaster, MA
WHAT: Echo Dogs is pleased to be attending the Whisker Walk in Lancaster, MA on June 7th. Please visit their website to see all about the event, Whisker Walk.
In addition to the walk-a-thon, there are many more activities and this will be attended by many sponsors and rescues. Echo Dogs will have a booth there, so please stop by and visit if you can and meet some of our dogs. Even if you can't attend, please consider sponsoring me in the walk to help our dogs.

I know this is the weekend after the reunion event. If you have any items to clean out, please bring them to the reunion, we can collect them there!
It’s a great way to do some spring cleaning and get a tax deduction at the same time.
If you can’t come to the reunion, but you have items to donate, let me know and we’ll see if we can make arrangements!

WHO WE ARE...
Founded in Cedar Lake, Indiana and operating nationally, Echo Dogs White Shepherd Rescue, Inc is comprised of a network of rescue volunteers who are dedicated to matching White Shepherds and White German Shepherds in need with loving families throughout the US and Canada. Our mission is to place homeless dogs into loving and permanent homes, to educate the public about the breed, promote responsible pet ownership, and to provide ongoing training support and advice to adopters after our dogs have been placed in their new homes.
Echo Dogs White Shepherd Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster home based organization. We do not operate a shelter. The temperment and behavior of each dog is carefully evaluated while they are in foster care so that we can match each dog with a home best suited to meet their particular needs. Dogs are also taught good house manners, given basic obedience skills, and socialized while in foster care.
ADOPTING A FRIEND...
We have a standard adoption fee of $300.00. This fee helps defray the cost of our out-of-pocket expenses (with the rising cost of veterinary care) to care for each dog with food, medical expenses, grooming, transport from shelters to foster homes, etc. It also ensures that you adopt a healthy, happy dog.
Our adoption process includes a thorough application submission, including vet reference, personal references and a home visit prior to placing any dog. All approved adoptions are finalized with a legal and binding contract.
Most of the dogs available for adoption through our organization are older puppies and adults. All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, treated for external and internal parasites, *tested* heartworm negative and on preventative, microchipped, and are spayed or neutered prior to placement in their new homes. Young puppies are occasionally available for adoption, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption NO EXCEPTIONS.
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!
The dogs listed here are lucky enough to have another chance at a happy life because of the kindness and generosity of people willing to open their hearts and home to a dog in need. Sadly, there are many more dogs waiting in shelters or poor living conditions than there are foster homes. For many, time is short.
