"Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe, we are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made."
-Roger Caras

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers. Whether it is brainstorming for fund raising ideas or being a foster "mom" or "dad", we would love to hear from you! See for yourself what a difference you can make in the life of the rescued dogs, even for just a few hours a week.

Dean and his littermates have the prettiest red fur and sweet dispositions. Their mama was a purebred black and tan gorgeous hound and it appears that daddy was a boxer. They are 8 weeks old (Approx. April 25) and are very well socialized and playful. They are spayed and neutered and can come to their new families the weekend of May 10th after their next set of puppy shots is complete! If you would like to apply for this pooch please hurry. They're so cute that they will adopt out very quickly!
Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.
Our rescues don't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. At times, a dog may be in foster care in New England and their bio will clearly be marked as such so you will know. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed over a two thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving New England homes!
Each group has many, many, references of happy adopters up in your area that can fill you in on their experience. Just email and they can pass along that information for your convenience.
Thanks!
