Adopting a friend

The Salem Animal Rescue League prides itself on finding the right home for the right pet. For adoption consideration, as a first step, please fill out our Adoption Request/Waiting List Form found under the photos of our dogs and cats on our website at www.sarl-nh.org.

We will contact you when a pet that meets your profile is available for adoption. At that time we will talk about your expectations, lifestyle and previous pet experience. SARL reserves the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant. By requesting information on an animal and initiating the screening process, it is not a guarantee that particular animal is yours to adopt. SARL does not place our pets on a "first come, first served" basis. We only adopt to local candidates who are able to visit our shelter and never ship any of our pets regardless of the suitability of the prospective home.

Come Visit Us!

From South: (Coming from Massachusetts) Take I-93 North to Exit 1 Salem (Mall Exit). Follow same directions as From North.

From West: (Coming from Nashua) Take Rte. 111 East to I-93 (Exit 3) South. Go South to Exit 1 Salem (Mall Exit). Follow same directions as From North.

From East: (Coming from Massachusetts) Take Rte. 213 (Methuen) to I-93 North. Take next Exit 1, Salem (Mall Exit). Follow same directions as From North.

Coming from Hampstead Take Rte. 111 West to Rte. 28. At set of lights (US Gas) take a left and continue down Rte. 28 (Broadway) will go through 8 set of lights. At the 8th light (T-Bones Restaurant) will go another quarter of a mile, look for Baron's TV and Big & Tall store. Take right at driveway between the two stores and go all the way, passing through a gate and look for trailer in the back. You are there.
