Who We Are
The Conway Area Humane Society opened its doors to homeless cats in June '03. Just a short year later the doghouse was welcoming homeless dogs. The CAHS has offered help to over 4000 animals including dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs.
Adopting a friend
The CAHS adoption process includes a three-page application for adoption in order to facilitate a good life style match for both animals and humans. The $80 cat adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines for age (rabies, distemper), Frontline for fleas, Worm medication for parasites, and Feline leukemia test. The dog adoption fee is $140 and $200 for puppies. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date for age on vaccines, heartworm tested, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
