Our Sunday 2:30 tour starts in our rec room (park at bottom of driveway in visitors' lot, walk up paved driveway, rec room is straight ahead), but then is spent outdoors touring the various paddocks. It can be cold, hot, windy, slippery and/or muddy and/or wet, so always dress for the weather AND for trekking around the farm! Thanks for stopping by to visit! And check out this great new video about the farm on youtube:
F R A U D A L E R T!!! Please read this important message regarding fraudulent dog adoptions!
It has come to our attention that someone has been posing as Live and Let Live Farm and adopting out dogs. Many of these dogs have been ill and were been brought to NH vets with the promise of LLLF paying the medical expenses. These same dogs were also adopted out on the street at drop-off points. LIVE AND LET LIVE FARM DOES NOT ADOPT OUT ANIMALS ON STREET CORNERS OR IN PARKING LOTS! All adoptions are completed at the farm, and all dogs have a proper health certificate, vaccinations, and are of the appropriate age. As with other shelters, once an adoption is finalized, the new owner is responsible for any medical expenses. If someone claims to be LLLF or any other rescue group and promises to cover medical expenses should an animal become sick, you are most likely not dealing with a legitimate shelter or rescue; and you should report this person to the appropriate authorities immediately!
Our Featured Pet...
Lollipop is an 11 year old paint horse and one of the sweetest horses you'll ever find! He lost his whole herd and almost the use of his hooves before coming to Live and Let Live Farm, so now he has a ballerina-type gait but he does get around. Right now he roams loose around the farm, which is a good thing, because he has "adopted" several mares to keep track of, and checking on them keeps him busy. He is a very devoted knight in shining armor to his mares, and a loving, affectionate horse all around. He will probably never be ride-able but would make a fantastic companion horse.
Please visit the Horses page of our website to see other available horses for adoption, fostering, sponsorship or co-ownership, and how you can help.
In honor of Petfinder.com's "Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet" promotion, we'd like to introduce:
Birds and Bunnies and More!
Live and Let Live Farm not only has horses, and mini horses, and ponies....but come check out our bunnies and roosters!! Sometimes we have kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, goats, pigs, cows, sheep....you get the picture! So keep checking back, as our animals are constantly changing.
News and Events
We rescue quite a few dogs from overflowing shelters down south, and sometimes we have pregnant dogs coming in, or dogs who have JUST given birth--literally--as in, on the trip up north. We always need qualified foster homes to help take care of the dogs and puppies until they can be adopted. Please contact the farm if you are interested in being a foster home, email@example.com.
