Who We Are
We are a private, non-profit 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization dedicated to caring for and finding homes for unwanted pets in Northern New Hampshire and northeast Vermont. No adoptable pets are euthanized. We are a new organization, beginning in 2001 with a small group of volunteers.
Adopting a friend
We have many cats and kittens, and dogs as well. Please see our website at www.atnhs.org for more information on adoption procedures.
Our adoption fees are $75 for a cat, $175 for a puppy, $150 male or female adult dog and $125 for a dog over 7 years. Also giant breeds and some specialty breeds are $225 depending on the vet care.
Come Visit Us!
Because our pets are sheltered in a veterinary hospital, a boarding facility or are in foster care, we do not have regular hours to visit the pets; they are shown by appointment after an application to adopt has been approved. Please see our website at www.atnhs.org for pictures of our pets as well as an online adoption form.
