About Us
We have been involved with rescue work for many years, volunteering for other rescue organizations. We finally decided it was time to establish our own rescue and it all begin with a little four month old black lab puppy named Hope. Since then, we have become a 501c3 non-profit organization. We have also obtained licenses from both the GA and NH Depts of Agriculture. We will remain a small rescue so that all of our dogs will still get the individual attention they so deserve.
We are two families who particularly love Labrador Retrievers.
One family lives in Georgia and one family lives in New Hampshire.
Our mission is to save those labs who are facing imminent euthanization in high kill shelters. We provide them with the necessary veterinary care, place them in a foster home so we can observe their temperament, likes and dislikes and identify any behavioral issues.
We believe that this work is our ministry, that we have been called to make a difference in the lives of these dogs who otherwise have no hope.
We only rescue one dog at a time, giving them the individual attention they need.
Once they have been seen by one of our Veterinarians, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and heartworm tested, they are placed in a foster home where they will live while a forever home is found. Most of the labs we rescue are transported via a certified transport company to their waiting families in New England.
