Adopting A Friend
Finding a Rescued Dog a new forever home is our mission, however not all applicants will be accepted as an adoptive home, nor do we operate on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Instead, we strive to make the best possible match between our adoptable dogs and the applicants based on the dog's personality, special needs (if any) and the lifestyle and experience of the potential adopter. Please understand that while your desire for a dog is important to us, our rescued dog's need for a well matched home comes first.
The placement of our dogs is serious business. The first step in the adoption process is the completion of the application. We will review your application to ensure that the dog is a good match for you and your lifestyle. You will be contacted by a rescue member who for further information. An interview and possibly a home visit will be required before an adoption can be finalized. The adoption contract and an adoption donation is the final step in our adoption process. We request this fee to help defer the cost for medical or any other expenses while preparing this dog for adoption. Once these steps have been successfully complete, you will be able to take your new best friend home!
Who We Are
New Digs for Dogs Rescue is a not for profit volunteer rescue organization located in North Haverhill, NH. We do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they live in our foster homes waiting to be adopted by a caring and friendly family. We do not have a physical shelter and are all volunters, so please understand that we would rather use email to communicate. Thank you!
