Dante's Lucky Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer not-for-profit rescue serving the state of New Hampshire. Our team involves volunteers from New England and Ohio while our dogs come from all over. Our goal is to find loving homes for dogs and puppies who need our help. These animals don't ask for much...but what we ask for is good food, a warm bed, exercise and someone they can count on forever. Adopt a pet and enhance your life!

We at Dant'e Lucky Dog Rescue fully understand and appreciate the economic situation that our country is experiencing. We are equally aware of the dire situation that the animals in our country are experiencing, but the fate for them is being controlled by humans. Our shelteres are being filled to capacity, please refer a friend to PETFINDER.COM and let them know there are wonderful and deserving animals in need. If you only want a "purebred" consider adopting one of the many purebreds on this site or consider the fact that 100% dog is always fabulous no matter what the breed or make up.

Adopting a pup is an easy process, however, we do not adopt on first come first serve basis. We try our best to ensure the adoption is a happy time and a commitment which is lifelong! We will tell you all we know (upfront) about the animal. He/she will be fully vetted to include neuter or spay, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and a health check-up from a veterinarian.
If for any reason, you decide you no longer want the pet, you can return him/her to us and we will gladly find a more suitable match for all involved.
If you are not selected for the animal you apply for, that does not mean that you do not have a great home to offer to a rescued animal. We strive for a perfect match to attain that "happily ever after" story.
All of the dogs in our care are supported only by donations. All of the adoption donations we collect are spent in full on the care of the animals in our group, such as food, vetting, heartworm preventative, spot on flea and tick preventative, and any other medicine that might be required by the vet.
Dante's Lucky Dog Rescue reserves the right to deny any application for any reason. We do receive a lot of applications, so just because you don't hear back from us right away does not mean your application has been denied. We do try to get back to you within 24-48 hours. If we haven't, don't be shy, please email us again!
Our foster homes are all over the place which means we will not necessarily have an actual location for you to meet all of our animals.
Donations
Ever go to the grocery store and think "What else do I need?" If you are able to spare a container of bleach, a bag of dog food, or perhaps even dog collars, leashes, beds, dog toys, even cat food or litter, Dante's Lucky Dog Rescue could definitely use it. If you do any cleaning and want to get rid of old towels or sheets, that's right, Dante's Lucky Dog Rescue could make good use of it!
