The Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska aka Northeast Nebraska Humane Society pledges to provide humane care for abandoned, neglected or abused pets for adoption purposes and to educate the public about the proper care of animals.
Here's the link to the adoption application. Once the application has been approved, arrangements can be made to meet the pet. Adoption fees cover the cost of spaying/neutering, shots and other medical expenses incurred before adoption.

We don't have a shelter for you to visit yet, but it's coming soon. You can see the sign located on the lot where the shelter will be built, 6 miles north of Norfolk on Hwy. 81.
In the meantime, we need help to foster homeless animals. Contact us if you can foster an animal until an adoptive home can be found.
