Who We Are

4 Luv of Dog Rescue is an independent dog rescue devoted to rescuing and rehoming dogs. All of the dogs on this site come from shelters where they had run out of time. They are all wonderful, loving dogs who deserve a second or third chance at life and love. This rescue does not believe in breed discrimination and welcomes all breeds. Many of these dogs are in desperate need of foster homes.

Adopting a friend

There is a pre-adoption application, reference check, and home visit required prior to adopting an animal. There is an adoption donation/fee applied to all dogs. This fee ranges from $100-150. These fees help cover the veterinary care we have provided for the animals while they wait for homes. The fee also helps pay for the food and other general care we provide for the dogs. You must be 21 yrs or older to adopt a dog and can not live in a an area where there are dog breed bans. We do adopt to homes outside on the area, but there are special requirements for out of state adopters.

If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please fill out our pre-adoption application.

Foster Homes Needed!

Foster homes are the most important part of 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, as we can only save as many dogs as we have foster homes. Every week there are dogs in need of rescue in local area pounds. Without people willing to open their hearts and homes, we can not help rescue these homeless dogs.

Foster homes provide a safe, loving environment and routine care for a dog while our organization pays for all food and medical expenses. Fostering a dog can be a very rewarding experience as it is a great feeling to know that you are playing a huge part in saving a dogs life.

We currently are in need of both short and long-term foster homes. Short-term fosters are needed to temporarily care for a dog until transportation can be arranged for transferring the dog to another rescue organization. Usually this is no longer than a week. Long-term fosters are needed to care for a dog until they are adopted to their forever home. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months.

We also are in need of foster homes without cats or homes without any other pets.

Please consider becoming a foster home for our organization. If you would like to apply to be a foster home for us, please fill out our foster application.
