We meet on the 4th Thursday of every month (except for December) at our office - 1860 Old Airport Road in New Bern, NC. Meetings start promptly at 7 p.m. We hope to see you there! Call (252) 633-0146 for more information.
Funds are used to support our emergency vet, spay/neuter, and rescue programs. We get many calls for help, and continuous fundraising and donations are needed to keep our programs going. Won't you help? Please send your donation to

Looking for a tax deduction? Since we are a nonprofit 501(c) organization, all donations are tax deductible!!
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We rely on the tireless help of our volunteers to implement our programs.
If you see an animal you are interested in, please fill out our online application found at www.colonialcapital.org/application. Your application will be reviewed and your references will be called. We may ask to set up a home visit with you.
** We are in desperate need of good foster homes. If you can open your heart and home to one of our homeless pets, we will take care of all the veterinary care needed. If you love dogs and/or cats but can't adopt right now, fostering is a wonderful way to connect with a pet on a temporary basis. Each foster family will be actively involved in the adoption of their foster pet. It's a really rewarding experience.
