THE ANIMAL CONNECTION

Our Pet List

PET OF THE MONTH : * MS. FOXY LADY ROXY *

Our pet of the month introduces herself...
I am a 3 year old spayed female Fox Terrier Mix. I love to play with with my canine companions. I get along GREAT with other dogs, cats, and children. In fact, I am looking for a loving home with another canine playmate for romps in the back yard or long walks. - or someone who would like a bedwarmer/walking buddy/companion. If you have room in your heart and home for an happy girl with lots of love to give, please contact my foster mom. I am up to date on all of my shots (inc rabies). My rescue mom got me spayed at 6 months. I also come with heartworm prevention medicine. To meet me, please call 704-605-1609, or e-mail cbdoolittle@yahoo.com. THANKS!

NEWS & REVIEWS

The Animal Connection has several kittens currently waiting for adoption (ranging from 8 weeks to 10 months old). We have both dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and breeds, so please take a look at our pet list. There are also quite a few owner release animals that are not always listed, as they change daily. And, new animals are available regularly, so if you don't see what you desire, drop us a line to see if we may be able to help you make the connection/find a match for your family/situation/needs.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

The Animal Connection's mission is to match adoptive animals with the most appropriate homes we can find for the people and pet. Our goal is to give all of the animals that need assistance the best opportunity possible with regards to their preferences, personalities, and particularities. A lot of effort is put forth in the process of finding a suitable match for the animal and the adoptive family. All animals are screened prior to placement. "Screenings" help determine what would be a good home for them by.....Dogs are fostered inside, introduced to crate training where applicable, other dogs, cats & children (when possible). Most cats are fostered inside only, introduced to dogs (when feasible), and exposed to other cats & children. All animals have full health screenings by a vet & are spayed or neutered, all shots are administered, as well as any other recommendations by the vet for optimal health upon adoption. Please feel free to call for further details on a specific animal's history or arrangements.

TO ADOPT A COMPANION:

Animals will go to homes specifically suitable for the individual pet. In-home visits are performed prior to adopting an animal. Adoption donation is required. This is used to ensure all animals are vet current & spayed or neutered (at 6 months of age). If <6 months, spay/neuter will be done once adequate age is reached. All dogs are heartworm tested. All cats are FIV/Leukemia tested. Out of town adoptions are considered. Thank you so much for your interest in rescuing a loving animal friend and companion. You are giving them the opportunity to show just how much love they have to give. We look forward to assisting in your search.

Come Meet Our Fosters to see if they are what you've been looking for!
