We welcome donations of blankets, towels, paper towels, leashes, collars and dog houses. We also need monetary donations for the upkeep of the rescue. We spend about $400.00 every 6 weeks on gravel and fence repair. You can send donations to: Rusty's Legacy 139 Lytle Mtn Road, Marion, NC 28752

Rusty's Legacy rescues dogs from high kill shelters. We are these dogs last and best hope. All dogs receive medical treatment, behavioral and temperament evaluations and are spay/neutered before adoption with the exception of puppies under the age of 16 weeks.
Adoption Policy
The rescue is open to the public Thursdays 4 - 8, Fridays and Saturday and Sundays 2 - 6
Animals may also be seen/adopted by appointment at the rescue in Marion.
