Before we rescue a dog from a shelter, we first make sure we have an approved foster home that can provide a loving, stable home environment for the dog until it’s adopted. These selfless foster homes provide food, training, and affection, while our organization covers all medical costs associated with the foster dog.
When it is time to make the difficult choice of which of the hundreds of pit bulls across the state get that rare available spot in our rescue, we take into account key factors. First, we want to make sure the dog we choose is a suitable family pet that will paint the breed in their true nature; happy, stable, & people-friendly dogs. All of the dogs that enter in our program have been evaluated by experienced trainers or shelter staff. Also, we must consider the foster home they will be moving into and which dog might fit best! Our foster homes are as important to us as the dogs themselves!
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!
