Who We Are

Alley Cats and Angels (AC&A) is a non-profit feline rescue organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of unwanted and abandoned cats in our community. We strive to decrease the number of homeless cats through our adoption program, trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts for feral cats, education of pet owners on sterilizing owned cats, and public education and awareness.

Adopting a friend

Alley Cats and Angels adopts out rescued friendly cats and socialized kittens from feral colonies. We have some wonderful cats and kittens for adoption! Because our kitties have already been through a lot in their lives, we are not looking for just "any" home. We have adoption guidelines to ensure a "forever" and safe home. If you feel you have what it takes to give a great home and good care to one (or more!) of our cats, please fill out our application.

Before you adopt:

Each potential adopter must complete an Adoption Application The application will be reviewed by an experienced adoption counselor and the foster home. We will contact you by phone to discuss your specific needs and any purrsonality traits you are seeking in a cat and also answer any questions you may have.

Our Featured Pet...

Rascal

DOB: 4/2008
Color: DSH Gray / Brown Tabby with White
Gender: M
Declawed: N
Special Needs: N

If Rascal had a theme song it would be "I can't get enough of your love" or "Love Me Tender". This big hunk is a super duper lovebug. He likes to know where his people are and what they are doing so he can join in on the fun.

He's a handsome fellow with a pretty (oops, pardon me, handsome) pink nose. There's a saying "good things come in small packages" - well, Rascal begs to differ, he thinks good things come in really big packages like him. Although he has the appearance of a linebacker, he is a gentle giant and is a real teddy bear.

If you're looking for a constant companion, this big boy is for you.

Rascal and Cider grew up together and Rascal looks out for Cider. At their temporary foster home when Cider first hid, Rascal would stand by the food dish and cry and look back at his brother as if telling him "it's ok, come and eat". It would be ideal if the boys could be adopted together, although we will consider separate adoptions for the right homes.

Rascal and his brother, Cider, are victims of the downturn economy. They lost their home due to foreclosure.
