At Parrot University (Parrot U) and Companion Parrots Re-homed (CPR) our focus is adoption of surrendered, rescued and found birds and education of owners and potential owners in companion parrot care and behavior. Parrot U is a retail store offering all the essentials and lots of “fun stuff” for birds. Our knowledgeable staff is available to answer any questions our customers may have. In addition to the largest and most reasonably priced “parrot-phernalia” in the area, we offer adoptions, classes, seminars, behavioral consultations and bio-security boarding to assist our customers with their parrot/owner relationship.
Adopting a friend
We know how important that it is to match the right bird to the right home, therefore, anyone interested in adopting a bird from CPR must attend at least two of our free educational classes, agree to a visit in their home by one of our staff, and complete an adoption application and contract.
