Goathouse Cat Refuge
Meet the Cats
Who We Are
The Goathouse Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal sanctuary dedicated to providing cage-free care for cats regardless of age, medical issues or disposition until a permanent loving adoptive home can be found. We are a rescue operation in Chatham County near Pittsboro, NC. Our cats are housed in an artist's pottery studio and free to roam all day out of cages and among the artists and cat volunteers that work there. Because of the constant interaction with other cats and lots of humans, our cats are very friendly and socialized.
With an approved application, an approved home (we make a visit), and an $100 fee, you may take your new cat home.
