Who We Are
Carolina Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer organization made up of people devoted in helping animals in need. We are a sister organization to Raleigh Rodent Rescue, working with non-dog/cat species--rabbits, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and others--that have been surrendered into local shelters or found as strays. All of the pets in our program are provided with medical care and are housed in loving foster homes until a new forever family can be found.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our available pets, please visit our website at www.cpr-nc.org, and click on the Adoption Application link. Once your application has been approved, we will arrange a time for you to visit with the pet of your choice. We also reserve the right to perform a home visit prior to adoption if deemed necessary. Adoption fees vary depending on species and are listed with each pet's profile.
Note: If we do not currently have the type of pet you are looking for, please visit Raleigh Rodent Rescue, our sister organization, at www.raleighrodentrescue.org to view their adoptable animals.
Come Visit Us!
Carolina Pet Rescue consists of a series of foster homes, and as such, does not have a central facility. If you would like to visit with one of our available pets, please follow the procedures outlined above. Also keep an eye on our news section, for future Adoptathon dates. Adoptathons are a great opportunity to visit with multiple pets in a single location!
