Who We Are
ARD believes in working together to make difference in the world of abused and homeless animals.
We are an independent no kill rescue group, solely funded out of pocket who has been rescuing and saving homeless and abused animals for years now.
We work together and in conjuction with other reputable Animal Welfare and Rescue groups throughout the Triad, NC area.
We believe that "together WE can all make a difference in the world of homeless & abused animals."
How our program works
ARD provides care and foster homes for mainly stray, abused or homeless dogs and puppies, but we never turn down cats or kittens!
ARD's animals remain with us until a lifetime loving home is found. All potential adopters / adoptions are carefully screened. We require all potential adopters fill out and return our Adoption Application for processing and prior to any meeting of the animal. Once approved an “in home” visit will be scheduled at which time a ARD representative will bring the dog to meet you at your home.
All of ARD's animals are spayed or neutered whichever applies, current on all vaccinations, on HW preventatives, Frontlined and Micro Chipped. Adoption fees are $150.00.

Fosters and Volunteers needed:
We are constantly in need of Foster Homes for the dogs that come into our program. ARDsupplies food and medical, you supply the LOVE and a home........wouldn't you love to help save an animals life? If so, please email us or visit our web site.
Can't foster but wouldl like to help: We could always use an extra caring hand at our adoption events, would you like to walk a dog? Hold a puppy? Email us or visit our web site. All our events are local in the Triad area.
