Paris is a cute 9-lb. Chihuahua who is looking for a "forever" home. She loves people and children, and is a total lap-dog. She gets along with other animals, but is a little bossy when eating. Paris needs a securely fenced yard, or somebody who will walk her on a leash. She is crate trained, and is working on her housetraining. Paris is spayed, microchipped, current on her Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines, and is on Heartworm and flea and tick prevention.

Who We Are
Forever Home Canine Rescue is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer, all-donation supported rescue for unwanted and homeless dogs. Small breed dogs are our specialty, but we do on occasion rescue other sizes of dogs. We do not have a shelter, and operate solely out of a network of foster homes.
Our mission is to find loving "forever" homes for the deserving dogs in our care, and to provide education regarding responsible pet ownership.
We are experienced rescuers with over 30 years experience. Helping you find the right pet to fit your family and your lifestyle is what we do best!
PETCO Adoption Days
Please come to meet us and our adoptable pets between 11 am and 4 pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at the PETCO store in Mooresville on Hwy 150 (River Highway).
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, the first step is to complete and submit an application. Please visit our web site www.foreverhomek9rescue.org for more information on our adoption process and to download an application. You can also e-mail us at foreverhomeK9rescue@yahoo.com to request the application. The completed application can be e-mailed or faxed to us. A FHCR volunteer will then contact you, and arrangements can be made to meet the pet through the foster home.
We offer a 3-week trial adoption period with all our adoptions to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The adoption fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that our pets will have their perfect "forever" homes!

If you would like to give a tax-deductible donation to Forever Home Canine Rescue in honor or in memory of a beloved person or pet, we will be happy to let the family know of your thoughtful gift. This, in turn, will enable us to help more pets find loving homes.
