Hi! You don't have to say it – I'm just the handsomest kitten you have ever seen! It's true. It's true. My coloring is very unique – black with smokey grey highlights and little black socks. My foster people tell me they have never seen anything like it. As if that wasn't enough, I am also the nicest, most fun and most purr-fect kitten too.
My favorite thing is to do is play. I run around; jump in the air; spin in a circle and run around again. It makes my foster humans laugh so I do it over and over. I play with strings, cat toys and anything I can get my little paws on. I help put the laundry away by wrestling with socks. They put up a big fight you know. I'll play until I'm too tired to play and then I'll flop down wherever I am (especially on someone's feet) for a quick nap. I'll take just a quick nap though because I don't want to miss a thing.
What's my best talent? Purring of course. As soon as you pick me up, I start purring. Well actually, if you even look at me I purr. I am a very happy boy. I purr the most when I'm lying on my back in your lap getting petted. I like to hang out with my humans so don't be surprised if I follow you wherever you go.
I'm known to be fearless because I will try anything at least once. I love everybody including all my foster cat brothers and sisters. I don't think I'm afraid of dogs but I've never lived with one. Introduce me to one and we'll see how it goes. I think I would be great with kids.

Want to help homeless cats and kittens? Become a foster home for Hobbes House.
We have many cats and kittens that need a caring foster home who can give them love, attention, nurturing and socialization. Without more foster homes, we will be limited in the number of stray and abandoned kitties we can rescue.
All medical care will be provided by our rescue group, along with Science Diet Adult or Kitten dry food. Our kitties are tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, are fully vaccinated - including rabies, and are either spayed or neutered before they are available for adoption.
Won't you open your home to the love of an animal. All the benefits of having a kitty without the long term commitment.
Who We Are
Hobbes House is a non-profit, no kill feline rescue group located in Wake Forest, NC. Our goal is to rescue as many cats and kittens as we can. Once animals are in our program, we provide all medical care and work to find them wonderful forever homes.
All of our cats & kittens have been spayed/ neutered, tested negative (for FIV and Feline Leukemia) , dewormed, and are up to date on their shots. Our adoption fee is $100 and $50 for Senior Cats (age 10 and up).
