Our Featured Pet...

Charlie Estimated Date of Birth October 2005 Charlie came to live with us after his owner became ill and had to be admitted to the hospital. Charlie is all about getting attention and affection - his tail actually quivers with excitement when he knows you're going to spend time petting him....and you'll be rewarded with kisses, rubs against your hand and the loudest purr ever (as a matter of fact his previous name was "Harley" due to his loud 'motor'). When he's feeling playful, he'll roll over on his back to make sure you can pet his tummy and scratch his chin. He truly is an amazing kitty - all he wants is to feel loved and protected. He'll spend hours in your lap or being held, and if you snuggle him in close, you can just feel his body melt against you. Charlie is terrified of other kitties, so he would be best as an only boy - which actually works out well since he is thrilled to have you all to himself. Catnip toys are his favorite and he is mesmerized by watching the birds play outside. He would make an incredible companion kitty since he loves adult and children's company and he has so much love to share. Charlie is also very environmentally friendly - he can help you stay warm in the winter by sleeping next to you :-) In the summer, you can both sit by the window and catch the breezes. His wonderful purr is an instant stress reducer - better than a spa! Won't you take this wonderful boy home?
