The Bladen County Animal Shelter is located in Elizabethtown, North Carolina,
next to the Powell-Melvin Ag Service Center
30 miles southeast of Fayetteville and 45 miles northwest of Wilmington,
or about two hours from Raleigh.
You are invited to stop by for a visit, and to adopt a four-legged friend!

Mon-Fri
1:00 - 5:30 PM

Saturday
9:00 AM to 12 Noon


The adoption fee for all pets is $25.00 and includes a rabies vaccination when given by a local veterinarian.

You, as the adopter or rescue organization, are responsible for any and all veterinary work given. No health or temperament guarantees are given or implied.

This is a rescue-friendly facility so all reputable rescues are welcome to register in advance as an Adoption Partner. There is no pull fee for 501(c)3 rescue organizations.
