Adopting a friend

1. Submit an online adoption application from our website.

   Click here http://www.catangelsnc.org to go our website.

2. An Adoption Counselor will review your application and contact you for an interview. Please be sure you have entered a phone number on the application.
3. If the adoption application is approved, you can meet your prospective new furry friend.
4. If you and your new furry friend want to be permanent pals, we have a 'cooling off period' to ensure this is really the right pet for you, and not a snap decision.

   We are a no-kill shelter, and will work to find this animal a home- for as long as it takes. We don't want you to adopt just because you think this animal has only a few days left. Sadly, animals at municipal shelters are in that life or death situation. We are not a municipal shelter.

5. If you haven't changed your mind after the cooling off period, then we finalize the adoption. This includes filling out an adoption contract, giving you the medical history on this animal with the rabies tag and certificate, and paying the adoption fee.
6. Then you and your new furry friend go home to start your new life together! =^..^=
7. We have a return policy - for the lifetime of the animal! If for some reason, you and your new furry friend can no longer be pals - then you must return him or her to us. We really do understand that sometimes, things just don't work out. And, we want to be there to help both of you. Don't worry about him or her finding a new home - remember: we found you. =^..^=

We have just opened our new adoption center in Cary, NC. Our next goal is to obtain funding to open a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to help the community.

Who We Are

We are a new cat and kitten rescue and adoption group in the Research Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill) and outlaying areas of central North Carolina. We are a no-kill rescue and adoption group.

We are composed of members with many years of adoption and rescue experience with cats and kittens.
