We have a new shelter!
The Sampson County Animal Shelter has many beautiful dogs and cats for adoption each week.Adoption fee is $25 per pet, plus an additional $6 for rabies vaccinations at a local veterinarian.

PLEASE NOTE: Sampson County Animal Control cannot guarantee the health of any animal.
Many come in as strays, and the shelter has little or no prior history.
We are located in Clinton, North Carolina, approximately one hour south of Raleigh, NC and an hour north of Wilmington.
Coming from Wilmington, take Highway 421 North to Clinton.
The shelter is located beside the Sampson County Livestock Facility off Highway 421.
Coming from Raleigh, take Interstate 40 east to the Highway 701 exit at Newton Grove.
Take a right onto Highway 701 South. Bear right on 701 Bypass, which merges with Highway 421 South.
The shelter is off Highway 421 beside the Sampson County Livestock Facility.
This is not an official Sampson County website. The site is run by a volunteer.
