If you are unable to adopt a pet but would like to support a rescue pet or our efforts in pet rescue please call or email me. We can send you a list of our most common used items that you can donate or check out some of those needs in the lines that follow. Or if you want you could always come visit and help out with the dogs! We are a not-for-profit family based rescue home. We pay for ALL our vet fees and dog food out of our pockets and I am disabled. We are happy to do all we can for the pets in need but at times it gets very difficult. We have pay pal account and giving online is very simple. We greatly appreciate any assistance in our work to help as many needy pets as possible. Feel free to contact us if you would like to come for a visit. We would love to have you stop by!
We rely on donations to provide shelter and medical care for the pets we rescue many of which are last hour gas shelter pets....in case you do not know the difference in gas and lethal injection kill shelters you should look it up on the web....it is very sad. Without help we can not continue to rescue as the cost is just too high. Your donation will help save a life today.
We also love to have foster homes help with rescue. Can you help out by taking in a wonderful companion for a short time? Or are you looking for a way to spend a few hours a month walking and playing with dogs in need? We love volunteer help and without it could not go on with what we do. Call us to set up a time to come share your heart and love with a dog who deserves some attention.
We are always in need of certain items too.....blankets, capstar, heartworm pills, flea and tick preventative, dog food, dog beds just to name a few items. Cleaners such as odor ban, chlorox, fabuloso (lavender). One of the most pressing things we need at this time is items to make repairs to the kennel. Such as paint, concrete board and other hardware items. We can purchase these much needed supplies with gift cards from Home Depot or Lowes.

We live on a large farm in rural Union Co. North Carolina.
We currently help as many dogs as we possibly can with no help fron any other source, so it is often difficult to take every dog that someone calls us about.. At the current time we do not accept cats but may be able to help you by placing an ad and picture on petfinder for you.
All of our pets are up to date on shots, wormed and given the necessary vet care prior to leaving. At the very least our pets have started on crate training and house training and most have been spayed/neutered. We do require a small adoption fee to help cover what we spend on each pet we rescue.
