Great News: The Cat Tails facility in Ocean Isle Beach which had its Grand Opening on Saturday, April 23, 2005, has recently had many fine renovations done to help our furry friends. Please come by for a visit and check out the great selection of cats and kittens that need a good home of their own.
Who We Are
Cat Tails is a dedicated group of people who have come together for the benefit of the feline population in Brunswick County. We are an experienced group that has worked together at a similar organization. At Cat Tails, we are able to bring all of our expertise and love of cats to a unique, cat-only adoption facility.Our only mission is to find "forever" homes for adoptable cats/kittens. We accomplish our goal by finding adoptable cats/kittens that are stray, unwanted, or surrendered to Brunswick County Animal Services. All our cats and kittens are checked by a licensed veterinarian for Feline Leukemia and FIV. If they test negative, they are moved into our adoption area. They are subsequently given a range of vaccinations, wormed and treated for fleas. All our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered BEFORE being offered for adoption.
Come Visit Us!
Adoption events are held at the PetSmart Store in Wilmington, NC (at Market Street & New Centre Drive) every Friday evening and Saturday from 9AM - 4PM. Additionally, cats/kittens are available from our Ocean Isle Beach Facility on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. (Directions to the Cat Tails Ocean Isle Beach Facility ).
