Who We Are...
The Animal Awareness Society (TAAS) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Randleman, NC. Our mission is to humanely reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs in our community by spaying and neutering and finding forever homes for adoptable and rehabilitated animals. TAAS accomplishes this goal by offering a bi-monthly, low-cost spay & neuter transport. TAAS is dedicated to finding forever homes for the animals that are currently in our care, community education about the importance of spaying/neutering and increasing involvement from citizens in efforts to decrease animal over-population.

Adopting a New Friend...
If you wish to adopt from TAAS, please go to our website, www.catawareness.org and fill out an application. When we receive your application, we will contact your veterinarian reference and then get back to you. This process may take several days. Thank you for your interest.
