Bichon Rescue does not currently have any foster homes available, so we are unable to take in any bichons needing re-homing. If you are willing to keep your bichon while we try to find a home for it, we can put your bichon's photo, information on petfinder as a courtesy listing. When possible, we will try to find another bichon rescue volunteer to take your dog, but foster homes are at a premium.

Who We Are
Western NC Bichon Rescue is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for homeless bichons & bichon mixes. All dogs are spayed or neutered before placing and are up-to-date on shots & are heartworm negative. On occasion, we have other small breeds for adoption. Adopting a friend
We require all applicants to submit an application for adoption and references.
We restrict our placments to persons or families without small children (under 9 yrs of age).
We are careful to place our rescues in homes where there will be maximum companionship so prefer to adopt to persons who are not out of the home all day as we've found small companion dogs fail to thrive when left alone so much.
We do a homecheck prior to adoption and follow-up visits after adoptions to be sure it's a good pairing and the dog and adoptors are happy. Thank you for choosing rescue!
