The Mission of Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, Inc. (FAPS) is to provide a licensed North Carolina no-kill shelter for owner-surrenders, for a small fee, and to rescue animals from the kill shelters in our area. We also care for these rescues and provide medical treatment if needed, until they are adopted into a loving and caring lifetime environment. FAPS believes in spaying and neutering to reduce the population of stray animals, and to promote responsible pet ownership. Owner surrenders must have a previously scheduled appointment. We are unable to take in stray or lost/found animals. For more information about FAPS, please visit us at www.fapspet.org. And join us on our Facebook page. You can also find pictures of all available pets up for adoption on Petango.com
Our adoption fees are $150 for dogs and $90 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test, preventative and treatment if needed for dogs and Feline Luekemia/FIV tests for cats, as well as any other veterinary care required to insure you adopt a healthy pet.
