Who We Are
The mission of Animal Advocates of Moore County is to reduce the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized in Moore County by our low cost spay and neuter program, adoption services, and countywide educational programs. (We are very proactive!) AAMC provides emergency medical services to animals hit by cars if the owner cannot pay for surgery. We have a LOST & FOUND program with a 95% success rate.
Adopting a friend
The adoption fee is a donation ($65 for dogs, $50 for adult cats, and $25 for kittens) unless otherwise specified. This includes the spay or neuter of the animal, rabies & distemper shots, de-fleaing & de-worming.

Animal Advocates will be at Belks Department store this weekend on Saturday 11-3 and Sunday 1-4. Join us to view adoptable animals and find a new family member! Or just to pet a dog or cat!
We are currently collecting donations for our annual Hollyfest Event. Items we are accepting include house hold items, yard and garage items, tools, knick-knacks, etc. Please no clothing or computers. Call the office to arrange for pick up or drop off.
