Who We Are
The Pender County Humane Society is a volunteer based non-profit, "no-kill" animal rescue organization funded by donations, memberships, and fees.
Adopting a friend
Adoption fees for dogs are $150 and $75 for cats. This includes deworming, flea and tick control, vaccinations, heartworm test and treatment (dogs only) and Felv/FIV test (cats only), and spay/neuter. The adoption process requires an application to be filled out and reviewed/approved by a board member. With the application approved, a vet check will be done.
