Kittens, kittens, kittens! From now until late Fall, we will generally have kittens available for adoption. Our website and Petfinder is updated every week with new pictures. Check back regularly for new kittens (and all of our other cats too!).
Who We Are
SAFE HAVEN FOR CATS is the Triangle's authentic no-kill animal shelter. We have many wonderful adult cats, teenage cats, extra-special cats, and kittens (when available) ready for adoption.
Adopting a friend
Adoptions from our shelter are based on an application and an interview. Frequently asked questions about the shelter and the cats are available on our website. The adoption fees are $85 for adults and $100 for kittens and includes all routine initial medical care including spaying or neutering and microchipping. Because we are trying to find the best match for our cats and kittens, some restrictions apply. You can complete an online adoption application at our website, SAFE HAVEN FOR CATS
Come Visit Us!
The shelter is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11am until 4pm; Saturdays from 10am until 4pm; and Sundays from 11 am until 5pm. Directions to the shelter are available on the website. Because it can get very busy during these times, appointments are strongly encouraged.
