This month has started our "Iams Home 4 the Holidays" adopt-a-thon and we want to assure that every animals has a great picture.
News
The Hoke County Animal Shelter is holding a rabies/microchip clinic on December 6th at the Paraclete Windtunnel just off 401 S about a mile from the Cumberland/Hoke county line. Cost of rabies vac. is $6.00 and the microchips are $15.00. At the same time we will be holding a lock up where you might have to bail out your animal. Just a small fundraiser to help save more lives.
Hours of Operation
The Hoke County Animal Shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm for adoptions and dropoffs.
Donations
Everyone has been calling in and asking what we need donation wise. And to aswer your question, we are always in need of wet food (cat/dog), treats (no rawhides), cleaning supplies such as dish detergant, laundry soap, hand soap etc. Monetary donations are excepted at the shelter and will be used toward the care and welfare of the animals while in our care.
Volunteers
We are currently accepting applications for volunteers at our shelter. Please see the Shelter Supervisor for an application. These volunteers are going to be helping with cleaning, feeding, walking, transports, and the adoption process.
Who We Are
The Hoke County Animal Shelter is dedicated to rehibilitating and rehoming unwanted pets. We also do our best to educate the public about spay/neuter programs to help curve the unwanted pet population.
Adopting a friend
All adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis. The shelter will not hold any animal for anyone to adopt. There is a $90.00 adoption fee. The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, rabies, and microchip.

The Hoke County Animal Shelter is located off of 401 in Raeford. Take 401 South from Fayetteville to Doc Brown Rd., Take a right and about 1/4 mile ahead on your left is C.C. Steele Road where you turn left and we are at the end on the right.
